Movies Making an Impact

Most of us would agree that art is most impactful when it results in reflection and contemplation. BankPurely is proud to sponsor two captivating film festivals this month.

41st Portland International Film Festival (PIFF), Portland, OR

A stellar example of movies making an impact is "Eating Animals," an official, BankPurely-sponsored selection of the 41st Portland International Film Festival.

This eye-opening documentary takes a harrowing look at factory farming in our age of industrialization. Based on Jonathan Safran Foer's bestseller and narrated by actress Natalie Portman (who became a vegan after reading this book), the film is one of nearly 90 featured films and 40+ short films being showcased for audiences across the city of Portland from February 15th until March 1st.

Colorado Environmental Film Festival (CEFF), Golden, CO

Another exciting and inspiring cinematic event highlighting thought-provoking issues is true to the spirit of The Centennial State. This event is supported and attended by those who value the natural world and share a passion for the power and beauty of film. The Colorado Environmental Film Festival is being held at the American Mountaineering Center in Golden, Colorado.

Be Impacted Yourself

BankPurely is giving away a handful of tickets to screenings at both events. If you will be in the Denver/Golden or Portland area and are interested in attending, send us an email at PurelyUpdates@BankPurely.com.
